“I had never had any sort of health issues in my life. Then last year I woke up one day and could barely walk. The pain from my back, and the loss of feeling and muscle control in my leg and foot was pretty surprising. I made an appointment with Dr. Jeffrey Carlson after having his name mentioned to me by three different people, (1) who I respect, and (2) were all previous patients of his. From the start, Dr. Carlson was pretty sure about what was needed, but he still urged me to try other options before surgery. Ultimately, I underwent spinal fusion surgery almost one year from today. There was not one moment in the process that I didn’t know what was happening or what to expect. The surgery was inpatient (sometimes it is not) but my recovery was wonderful. Every person that I needed as part of the surgery and throughout the recovery was already vetted and the appointments were made for me. Dr. Carlson is a highly respected surgeon and the Orthopedic & Spine Center consistently shows professionalism and seems to be in-step with the latest proven technology. Today I am pain free and I workout and run 3+ times per week. I could not be more pleased with this experience and I could not possibly give a high enough recommendation for this practice.”
